COMPAL 8.7

COMPAL by Concepts NREC is a specialized software tool for the preliminary design and meanline analysis of centrifugal and mixed-flow compressors. Part of Concepts NREC’s Agile Engineering Design System, it enables engineers to rapidly explore design concepts, estimate performance, and create reliable compressor maps early in the development process. COMPAL streamlines concept evaluation and de-risks later, higher-fidelity work by providing fast, physics-based predictions of efficiency, pressure ratio, flow range, and operating limits.

• Rapid meanline sizing for single- and multistage compressors
• Performance prediction across speed lines, with insight into choke and surge trends
• Configurable component modeling (impellers, splitters, vaned/vaneless diffusers, return channels, and volutes)
